Jean Grant
Jean Grant (she/they) is an LA-based filmmaker, actor and theatre-maker. The Victorian College of the Arts at The University of Melbourne is her alma mater; queer-feminist speculative fiction is her jam. Jean's short FOUND (writer/director) is a finalist for The Future of Film is Female and has screened at Portland Film Festival, Chattanooga Film Fest and more. Her short, BIRTH OF A POMEGRANATE (writer/actor), currently streams on Paus.tv. Jean’s favorite theatre credits include EXHUMING JOHNNY (performer/maker | Robert Walton & Company) and THE KIOSKERS (actor | St. Ann’s Warehouse Puppet Lab). Jean was selected for Women In Film’s Actor-Content-Creator mentorship in 2019; she’s elated to flip the role and be a WriteGirl teen mentor later this year.
