Tea Vatsadze

Tea was born in Tbilisi in 1992. She’s a graduate of the Film and TV faculty of Shota Rustaveli Theater and Film Georgia State University with a major in Animation Directing. She’s worked as an international relations manager and translator at various film festivals around Georgia. She served on a jury at the Pillusion Film Festival in Austria. She worked as an editor, and, in the past seven years, authored 30 short fiction and documentary films as well as a few music videos. Her latest short “45” was in competition at several film festivals all over the world and was nominated for Oniros Film Awards. In 2020-2021, Tea participated in Sarajevo Talents - Script Station. She’s currently working on a debut feature film project.

GRAVITY
In a dystopian, post-apocalyptic society, where donkey farmers have taken power, a 17-year-old Martha and her friend Daniel are on a quest to find the anchor of the sinking block named “Titanic" to prevent it from drowning in mud during the upcoming landslide.
