Marta Capossela

Marta Capossela is a screenwriter and director with a PhD in Russian Literature, focusing on the intersection of literature and film. She is also a literary translator (Russian to Italian) and has studied at the Baltic Film, Media, and Arts School in Tallinn. She lived and worked abroad for several years (Saint Petersburg, Siberia, Tbilisi, Tallinn, and Switzerland). She co-wrote the short films RONZIO (2024) and PICCOLI PASSI (2024). She was selected for the Sentiero Film Lab in 2023. Her debut short film, MISURE (2024) is the first installment of her trilogy focused on women’s bodies. Marta is a member of Women in Film, Television, and Media Italia.
