Denise Moreno

Denise Moreno is an American-Spanish writer and director. She has written and directed award winning short films, TV pilots, music videos and TV commercials. She was selected by TorinoFilmLab’s SeriesLab 2023, to develop her latest series project ESTRELLA DEL GREEN. In June 2024, she was selected to participate at ECAM series Forum in Madrid with the same series and won the SERIES MANIA prize. She was selected by HBOAccess as a semi-finalist in the top 25 emerging directors for their Directing Fellowship in 2020. Moreno is known for her strong female characters which defy gender stereotypes, for her comedic approach and for her ability to get strong performances from both actors and non-actors alike.
