Cheryl Jane Rock
Cheryl Jane Rock is a filmmaker from County Donegal in Ireland. Deeply inspired by Jane Campion’s THE PIANO at the age of eleven, she began her career as an actress and starred in several advertising campaigns. She then moved on to work as an art director on smaller film projects, before embarking on high-end productions in Northern Ireland including GAME OF THRONES and music videos, e.g., Rihanna’s “We Found Love”. Later she started working as an on set Art Director for various Irish productions including KIN, ORDINARY LOVE, and international productions such as MAYFAIR WITCHES and SANCTUARY for AMC. Her passion is story and how as humans we are challenged to make meaning from complex life experience.
RUMBLE (TV series)
Irish engineer Ada (35) returns to her hometown to secure a crack in a dam caused by an earthquake. With the entire village at risk from the fraught fissure, Ada struggles to stay on task as she is confronted by Marion (59), another force of nature who holds Ada responsible for her son’s mysterious drowning in the river some twenty years ago.
