Aida Schlaepfer Al Hassani is an accomplished film director with a background in accounting and business management. She studied art and media design in Zurich and later earned a Masters in Film Directing in Cairo. Aida's notable projects include award-winning films such as MARIONETTE, GANGS OF BAGHDAD and SOULS IN TRANSIT, which received Oscar qualification. Aida has served as a jury member at numerous international film festivals and is the founder of the International Arab Film Festival in Zurich. Her work aims to highlight the impact of war and raise awareness of vulnerable communities through the medium of film.

ZAHRA IN EXILE (feature film)
The film revolves around the conflict between Catholics and Muslims in the fifteenth century in Andalusia, which witnessed human transformations sown by religious intolerance and between these conflicts, a space of love and compassion was created.
