Karin Berghammer

Karin Berghammer is a Vienna-based producer and director. After a career as a midwife, she invented a delivery bed and had it patented and distributed. She studied at UCLA as well as the Kaskeline Film Academy in Berlin and holds a Master’s degree in TV and Film Production from Danube University Krems. Starting out in the film industry as head of development and production manager for arthouse films, she founded her own company, berg hammer film, in 2018, with a focus on innovative and bold fictional and non-fictional films and series projects, always with an eye for lightness and humour.
