Rahela Jagrič Pirc

Rahela Jagrič Pirc is a director/writer from Slovenia. She earned a Master’s degree in Film & TV Directing at Bournemouth University (UK) in 2009. She has been working in numerous worldwide productions from Europe to USA, Canada, New Zealand, Japan... and has attended various artist residencies and film labs, such as Berlinale Talents, Reykjavik Talent Lab, Kyoto Film Lab, New York Artist Residency, Ingmar Bergman artist residency, UGC Writer's Campus at Series Mania, got Nipkow fellowship (Germany), and recently became a member of the European Film Academy. In 2021 Rahela directed and co-wrote her first feature film THE SPACE AMONG US, which got awards in Slovenia and abroad. At the moment Rahela is developing her second feature film and meanwhile works as a director on various TV series in Slovenia and Croatia.
